MentorNet allows the administrator to moderate content that users enter into the system, to ensure that inappropriate words are not published. The administrator does this by defining a list of inappropriate words ('moderation terms'); if one of these words is included in a forum post then the post will not be published until the administrator has reviewed the post. The administrator has the option of accepting the post, editing it, or deleting it completely.

 

If you enter a post that includes a word that the administrator has defined as 'moderated' then you will see the following message instead of your post.

 

 

You will need to wait until the administrator has reviewed your post before the post will be displayed for others to see. The administrator has the option of accepting your post with no changes, deleting the post completely, or editing your post.
