MentorNet's Discussion Forums provide a collaborative place for users to exchange information on specific topics, with a ‘featured blogs’ area that highlights key contributors.

 

The forum can contain a number of sub-forums, each of which may have several threads. Each new discussion started is called a 'thread', and can be replied to by as many people as so wish. Each reply is called a 'post'.

 

Your administrator will have defined who is allowed to make and view posts. It may also be possible to define alerts so that you receive an email when forum posts are made.
